Light house labs had implemented a program for the purpose of providing a structured, supportive environment for introducing children ages 8-18 to programming. Built around the Hour of Code initiative launched in 2013 by the website Code.org. Since its inception, over 20 million people have taken part in crafting over 600 million lines of code.

This project was to create the name for this program as well as the branding identity for the program. The names we provided was narrowed down to two names, Codecreate and Wormhole.

The idea behind this direction is transformation from non-coder to coder. To convey this idea, I used a commonly used marker in web development, the forward slash, to teleport the wordmark from one side to the other.
